The Shooting Start Basketball Camp for children ages 9-17 will span three days beginning Monday, July 24, at the Bishop Diego High gym. Working with the campers will be Goleta native Julyan Stone, a point guard for the Denver Nuggets; and former UCSB stars Orlando Johnson and James Nunnally. Johnson is heading into his second year with the Indiana Pacers, while Nunnally has been playing for the Miami Heat team in the NBA Summer League.

The camp was originally scheduled for a pair of two-day sessions, but it has been consolidated into one. The last day, July 24, will consist of games and a barbecue. The deadline for registration is Friday, July 19. See www.ssbasketballcamp.com.
