Jeepers, Creepers, We’re Collecting Old Peepers

When : Oct19 through the Sunday after Halloween

Who: Lions Clubs (Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and Goleta), will collect used eyeglasses instead of candy this Halloween. The used eyeglasses are recycled and sent to developing countries, where people can’t afford eyeglasses. People who receive these eyeglasses may not be able to work because of their poor eyesight and may never have seen their own families’ faces clearly.”

Needed: all types of prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses for adults or children, also used cell phones and hearing aids.

Where: Special Lions collection box at the Church.
