Anxieties surrounding the renewal process of Santa Barbara Charter School were all but quelled at Tuesday’s school board meeting. After considerable tension plagued the two October meetings, ongoing discussion between district officials and charter school directors is “making great progress,” Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education Emilio Handall said in an update. Per these discussions, both sides agreed to postpone the vote until the next board meeting on 12/10.
