Informal Send-Off for Coach Bob Moore on Saturday

Coach Bob “Turtle” Moore — known to countless numbers of Santa Barbara volleyball players from the YMCA, La Cumbre Junior High, Santa Barbara High, and beyond — will be remembered at an informal memorial service this Saturday, December 20. Friends, family, and acquaintances will gather at the easternmost part of East Beach at 10 a.m.

All who wish to say a word or tell a joke or a story are encouraged to come. We will also be putting together a photo board, so anyone with photos of Bob is welcome to bring them and share a story or two. Last, bring a beach chair for comfort!
