Last year’s No on Measure P campaign raised nearly $6.9 million compared to the Yes side’s $426,000, according to post-election disclosure documents released this week. Almost $5.8 million of the $6.9 million came from a statewide coalition of oil producers called Californians for Energy Independence, which raised $9.7 million total in its fight against proposed drilling bans.
