Ortega Parking Lot Closes for Painting

Downtown’s Parking Lot 10, across the street from the Saturday Farmers Market and handy for Paseo Nuevo and lower State Street shops and restaurants, will fully close May 18-22 for cleaning and painting. The work at the Ortega Garage, located at 621 Anacapa Street, has been going on during the night since last Monday, getting ready for a general sprucing up of the interior parts of the structure. Parking will reopen for the Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25) and then have intermittent closures and delays through June 12.

More parking lots are available nearby, including down the block at 523 Anacapa Street and at Paseo Nuevo along the Chapala Street side.
