Warm, Cozy Soj

Thanks, Sojourner, for a good run! The Sojourner represented the best of Santa Barbara to me when I moved there in 1981. I would go there regularly for a reasonably priced meal in a comfortable, warm environment.

Critics seem to be describing a different place than I’m aware of. I never had a bad meal there and never got sick. I always enjoyed the atmosphere. Also, if I wanted an unusual or tasty soup, the Sojourner is where I’d go.

A lot of mean-spirited comments from people who are just unhappy with life are being made and have nothing to do with the Sojourner.

I hope that someone will try to duplicate the vibe and healthfulness of the Sojourner.

The closest so far is the Natural Café near the Plaza de Oro. That location has a comfortable, relaxed vibe. Please support them so that they stay around.
