I call upon everyone to do something to positively affect our public’s safety. For some it will mean volunteering at a local school, for others it will mean fighting for funds for mental health research/treatment, and for some creating new laws.

Normally, we don’t have the time (because we are busy being good mothers) or are too shocked to address the fact that a total stranger is glaring our way, or has approached to scold us for a perceived parenting defect.
