As a tribute to local mystery writer Sue Grafton, The Santa Barbara Friends of the Library invites you to join us for a unique fundraising event following the footsteps of investigator, Kinsey Millhone for an afternoon.

We begin with a talk with some of Grafton’s close friends, followed by a guided trolley tour identifying locations in Santa Barbara that Kinsey described in her adventures living and working in Santa Teresa. After a two hour excursion following the books and participating in a trivia quiz, we will return to the library for refreshments and handing out prizes for winners of the quizzes.

For extra fun, you can write a 24-sentence story about Kinsey using the titles of Grafton’s books in the order in which they were written. We will share some of them at the reception.

$100.00 per person (tax-deductible)
