The Citizens Planning Association will host a series of panel discussions on local land use planning and the expected impacts of climate change. Our third of several events will focus on the city of Santa Barbara. Participants include Eric Nickel, Fire Chief, City of Santa Barbara, Melissa Hetrick, Project Planner, City of Santa Barbara, Rebecca Bjork, Public Works Director, City of Santa Barbara, Rachel Couch, Project Manager, Coastal Conservancy Central Coast Program, and our moderator for this panel: Dave Davis, President of the Metropolitan Transit District Board of Directors, Vice President of the Environmental Defense Center Board of Directors and Community Environmental Council President’s Council member.

Following their presentations, there will be a question/answer session.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the panel will begin at 6:30 pm.
