ELKS National Free-Throw “Hoop Shoot” Contest is open to ALL Boys and Girls ages 8-13*
It’s FUN!! It’s FREE!!
Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 1:30-3:30 PM
Location: Page Youth Center 4540 Hollister Ave. Santa Barbara
*Contestant age groups, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 are determined by their age as of April 1, 2022. To participate, a proof of age document (birth certificate copy or current passport) must be presented at check-in.
THE CONTEST: Each participant will shoot 25 “free throws”. All Girls and Boys 8-9, use a 28.5″ ball. Girls and Boys ages 8-9 shoot 11ft. from the backboard. All others use a 29.5″ ball and shoot 15 ft. from the backboard. Basket height is 10 ft. The highest scorers, including tie-breaker scores, from each age group, will be invited to compete at the District level contest in Santa Maria on January 15, 2022.
