Please bring your children and your parents and your neighbors and come make a flower crown, have a snack, and learn how to dance the Maypole with us!

As parents of young children, it is often hard to find the right opportunities for them to help others on a bigger scale. This sweet event provides opportunities for both contributors and attendees.

There will be Maypole dancing, live accordion music, face painting, flower crowns, baked goods, homemade lemonade, handcrafts made with love, sweets, and treats from local Ukrainian women, Ukrainian dancing with World Dance for Humanity, and lots of springtime joy!

We hope you will come to celebrate with us and contribute what you can to families who are suffering terribly right now. Flower children of all ages are encouraged to wear white, which is traditional.

MAKE/BAKE SALE! The purpose of this event is to involve our children in our efforts to help those suffering in Ukraine. We encourage you to talk with your children about what they might want to contribute – and bake or craft with them to make it! Making something with our hands to help those in need is a sacred act. Please email Joya at Joya.rose.thomas@gmail.com if you would like to bring something to offer (baked goods or other homemade items such as handcrafts) at the Faire! Every single dollar donated will bring humanitarian aid directly to Ukraine through World Dance for Humanity. You do not need to stay for the event to contribute something to be sold at the benefit – so if your neighbor or grandma or friend wants to knit or bake something to drop off, the more the merrier! Thank you in advance for your support of the victims of the war in Ukraine.
