On Saturday, May 10, Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) is hosting its first Spring Celebration, a fundraiser to honor Ventura County and Santa Barbara County farmers and to support SEEAG’s free agriculture programs. Each year, SEEAG’s programs and events reach more than 15,000 students and community members, creating a deeper understanding and appreciation of how food is grown and the value and need to protect local food systems.
Guests at the Spring Celebration will enjoy a locally sourced farm-to-table brunch curated by Seasons Catering, featuring fresh ingredients from SEEAG’s farm partners. The celebration will be held at the historic Stow House at La Patera Rancho in Goleta. Guests can build their own fresh-cut bouquets at a Flower Bar and bid on locally crafted auction items. Event hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $100/adult and $25/youth.
