County Colleges Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

UCSB, Westmont Placed Among America’s Best Colleges

UCSB is tied with four other schools for the 44th spot in the country in U.S. News & World Report‘s annual “America’s Best Colleges” issue today. The school is tied for fifth highest in the UC system in the sometimes controversial rating system.

Westmont College ranked 106th among the nation’s liberal arts colleges, its third straight year of being ranked in the top tier of such colleges. The school was also one of only three liberal arts colleges among the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) and the only one in California.
