Peace Activists Shave Heads
On 11/9 peace activists, in a show of solidarity with soldiers serving overseas, shaved their heads, military-style, to protest the war. Visiting artist Genevieve Erin O’Brien put on the event, called “Peace Salon,” before the gazes of bewildered onlookers at the corner of State and Anapamu streets, in front of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
