Santa Barbara County D.A. Christie Stanley is forming a team-the Elder Death Review Team-composed of various county officials to reduce incidents of neglect and abuse of the elderly in the county. The team will work to increase the prosecution of crimes related to the deaths of elderly and dependent adults. The first meeting of the team was slated to take place on 9/25.
