Shawn Terris, a county employee in the Sheriff’s Department, was re-elected by fellow county employees to the County Retirement Board, despite an unusually hot contest by her opponent Theo Fallati. Terris received 73 percent of the vote, despite Fallati being endorsed by 4th District Supervisor Joni Gray and Audit-Controller Bob Geis. The SEIU asked the District Attorney to investigate possible law violations by Fallati during course of the election.
