• Take part in the Goleta Education Foundation 4-Miler! This four-mile run/walk course starts at the District Office (401 N. Fairview Ave.), loops around Lake Los Carneros, and returns for a fast downhill finish. Other highlights include a Kids’ Fun Run, children’s activities, and live music. This family-friendly fundraiser supports music and physical education programs in Goleta Union School District elementary schools. Sunday, September 21, at 8:30 a.m. $20-$30.
