The wine grape harvest is fully underway throughout Santa Barbara County, and there are a number of events coming up to celebrate. Many of them support good causes, too, so drink up and feel good about helping the world around you.

CELEBRATION OF HARVEST: The S.B. County Vintners’ Association throws the annual “Celebration of Harvest” this fall on Saturday, October 8, 1-4 p.m., at Rancho Sisquoc Winery, where the more than 100 members will be on hand to pour the best the region has to offer. Add to that great food, good music, and a fun vibe. See sbcountywines.com/events/celebration.html.

HARVEST FOR HOSPICE: The Brander Vineyard in Los Olivos is serving up wine, Ca’ Dario food, music, and vineyard vistas on Saturday, September 24, 1-5 p.m., to benefit Hospice of Santa Barbara. Tickets are $125. See hospiceofsantabarbara.org or call (805) 563-8820.

WEEKDAY WINE CLASSES: Learn about wine in a casual environment at the Wandering Dog Wine Bar this season, as they’re offering Tuesday Evening Wine Classes, 6-7:30 p.m., September 20-November 15 at their spot in Solvang. See wanderingdogwinebar.com or call (805) 686-9126.

TIPSY TUESDAYS: The Four Season Biltmore’s Ty Lounge is hosting wine tastings each Tuesday, 4:30-6:30 p.m., which include a complimentary tasting from a new winery each week, followed by glasses of the featured wine for just $7 until 7 p.m. See fourseasons.com/santabarbara.
