A 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible suffered heavy damage in a garage fire Thursday, the City Fire Department reported. There were no injuries. Multiple engines responded to the residence on Colina Lane at around 3 p.m. and found heavy smoke pouring from the detached garage. Firefighters made an “aggressive attack,” officials said, and quickly extinguished the blaze. An investigator at the scene determined the cause was a “mechanical malfunction inside the engine compartment of the vehicle.”
