The Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors recently approved amendments to the county’s Smoking, Tobacco Product and Electronic Smoking Device Control Ordinance, which place e-cigarettes and vapes under the same restrictions as conventional smoking devices. More outdoor places — dining areas, public events, and county-owned locations — will be off limits to both traditional smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices (ESDs).
