Coastal Commission Tackling Goleta Beach Rock Wall

The Coastal Commission will likely decide the future of the Goleta Beach rock wall at its May meeting in Santa Barbara, county officials told reporters this week. Last March, the Board of Supervisors voted to ask the commission to keep the 1,200 feet of rocks in place. Many credited the rock revetment with protecting the park during a mega-storm last March.
