SANTA BARBARA, CA The Abstract Art Collective presents ArtSEE, a fundraiser art event for SEE International, to be held at the Faulkner Main Gallery in the Santa Barbara Public Library. SEE International is a nonprofit, humanitarian organization whose volunteer eye surgeons generously work to restore sight to disadvantaged blind individuals worldwide.

Kicking off the month-long fundraiser will be a 1st Thursday Opening Reception on November 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A second reception with hors d’oeuvres and wine will be held on Sunday, November 8 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Both receptions are free and open to the public.

ArtSEE features a 100-piece wall of affordable original artwork, created and donated by AAC members and offered for sale on a first-come-first-choose basis. 100% of the sales proceeds from the 100-piece wall will be donated to SEE International. Additional AAC artwork, juried by Dug Uyesaka, will be on display with 40% of the proceeds to benefit SEE International.

Abstract art has as many styles and processes as there are abstract artists. The ArtSEE exhibit includes a wide range of media: Painting, printmaking, collage, wall sculpture, photography and digital art.
