Carpinteria Post-Fire Meeting Scheduled for Friday

The first of an anticipated series of informational meetings will be held at the Carpinteria Community Church, 1111 Vallecito Road, on Friday, December 22, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with a phalanx of building, insurance, and small business officials on hand to offer help, said Gina DePinto, county press officer. Information and answers to questions on how to rebuild or repair the damage from the Thomas Fire will be forthcoming from state, local, and federal agency representatives. En coordinación con agencias locales, estatales y federales, el Condado de Santa Barbara ha organizado una reunión de asistencia de recuperación que servirá como una ubicación central con recursos y servicios para los miembros de la comunidad que están comenzando el proceso de recuperación para restorar a sus hogares. Representantes de varias agencias estarán presentes para contestar a preguntas y para proporcionar información importante. Habrá información de asistencia con el proceso de reconstrucción, permisos, desecho de materiales peligrosas y mucho más. Este es el primer paso de muchos que tomaremos en nuestro proceso de recuperación comunitaria.
