Ann Marie Feld

Ann Marie Feld, 45, of Santa Barbara, CA, died Tuesday March 31, 2009 in her home from natural causes. Ann has been cremated. There will be a visitation Tuesday April 14, 2009 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a Vigil starting at 7:30 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Ann Marie, the daughter of John B. and May Kay Feld, of Marion, IA., was born June 9, 1963, in Atlantic, IA. She graduated from West Delaware High School where she was crowned homecoming queen in 1981.

She then attended the University of Northern Iowa and received a degree in public relations. She settled in Santa Barbara, CA where she worked for Tri County Regional Services.
Ann Marie had a very quick witted personality and loved to have long conversations with her loved ones. She was very caring and generous. She was there when you needed her, with concrete advice with a humorous outlook. She was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. There will be a void in our hearts forever.

Survivors include her parents, John B. and Mary Kay Feld, of Marion, two brothers, Stephen (Julia) Feld of State Center, IA., and Dan (Dianne) of Cedar Rapids, two sisters, Angela (Blake) Wilkinson of Marion, and Terese (John) Fisher of Cedar Rapids, two nieces, Shelby and Laura; and five nephews, Joseph, Matthew, Brian, Jacob and Patrick.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John and an infant brother, Patrick.

Ann Marie would love to have memorials sent to the Arc of East Central Iowa. She was a strong advocate of persons with disabilities.
