Ken Henius, 57, went to his heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. He passed away at home in Cave Creek AZ, surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of European immigrants, Curt and Andree Henius. Ken was an adventuresome spirit with a great zest for life.

He was an avid surfer and private pilot, building his own experimental plane and piloting it around California. For 10 years Ken made his home in Santa Barbara where his son, Doah was born to his first wife; they moved soon afterward to Ashland, Ore. In 1997 he married his beloved Carley and they settled in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Ken loved to travel and saw much of the world. He was the founder of Allstar GSE and became a successful businessman. His great passion was building and flying RC air planes. He loved gardening and being in nature. He always showed great devotion to his family.

He is survived by his wife Carley; son, Doah; mom, Andree; brother George and Ruth; brother Philip of Santa Barbara; aunt Marianne and John; his family in Europe; stepdaughter Kimberly and granddaughter Aurora who called him Bopa. His dad, Curt Henius preceded him in 2011.

Godspeed Ken, you will be greatly missed, but your spirit will be with us always.
