Died Sept. 29, 2015, age 83, at Casa Dorinda, Santa Barbara, California, and was interred at Santa Barbara Cemetery.

Fritzie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 8, 1932. She moved to Santa Barbara in the early 1980s, first as co-owner of radio station KBLS, then taking up philanthropic work. She was a founding member of the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara, served on the Community Relations Committee of the Santa Barbara Foundation, and was a member and former president of the Woman’s Board of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and. Fritzie also traveled the world with her husband of 62 years, Robert, enjoying jazz festivals, and collecting antiques and Mason ironstone.

She is survived by her husband, children Michael Yamin (Wendy), Nancy Yamin, Linda Glaser (Jeffrey) and Wendy Enderle, and grandchildren Tyler Yamin (Jessica), Shelby Yamin (Jamie), Olivia Glaser and Zoey Enderle, and her brother William Ziv.
