Olivia Maria Madrid

Olivia Maria Madrid was born March 25, 1932 in Panama and passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at her home in Northern California where she resided with her son and daughter in law. Olivia met and married Daniel Madrid while he was stationed in Panama during WWII and moved to California residing in Santa Barbara County, California for over 60 years. Olivia retired from the Goleta Lemon Association where she had worked for over 20 years. She was known for her strong work ethics, honesty, determination, and tenacious personality. She had a “green thumb” and her passion for gardening. She loved to crochet, volunteering for various community programs and spending time with her family. She has been reunited with her husband Daniel Madrid who passed away in 1997. Olivia is survived by her two children; her son, Daniel, his wife, Cheryl and her daughter, Corine. She was a grandmother to seven and great-grandmother to 3.

Services will be private with a memorial in Spring in Santa Barbara, Ca.
