One of Joannes greatest joys was taking care Of her new home with Husband and sons.

Early in Marriage Joanne made John promise that they would travel to England and visit the homes Of Great English Authors. Joanne acted as Navigator as they traveled the back roads from London To Scotland and stopping at Pubs along the way and we walked the quiet Countryside filled with  Flowers and solitude. Many trips followed with visits to France, Hawaii, Washington DC, Grand Canyon, New England, Yosemite, Washington and Oregon.

Once the boys left home Joanne started her Business, Book Gems where she sold out of print books To the world through the Internet. Each book was a treasure to Joanne and she wanted to share her Passion to any and all. Her last book was sent to Hong Kong. Prior to publication of BLACK TIDE, the Author Robert Easton visited Joanne and as he stepped into Her home he said “WOW” look at all the books. Yep, Joanne loved books.

Joannes other love was her cats and couch companions, Blackberry, Fluer and Harvey the rabbit.

Jack provided long walks and home protection when John was on business trips. Joanne also supported
the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee where the big girls retire. Pets were always a big part of Joannes Life.
Joanne leaves behind sister-in-law Linda Douglas and Husband Noel Douglas and Anita German of Prescott, Arizona.

Thanks to DR. Newman and Dr. Ponce for their compassion and understanding.
Joanne always marched To the sound of her own drummer.
