Dolly Evangeline Bartok was born in Monterey Park CA, and passed away peacefully on Aug 4th 2020, at Heritage House, Santa Barbara, CA.

Dolly grew up with her identical twin sister Molly and older brother Paul in the Los Angeles area. She met her late husband Andrew while attending high school in Pasadena, CA. Shortly after graduating from High School she married Andrew and was married for 48 years before he passed.

Dolly moved to Santa Barbara with her family in 1964, where she raised her three children, Michael, Daniel and Laura. Dolly helped in watching all of her grandchildren, Jacob, Shannan, Matt and Randy. Dolly loved her church and was very active in it. She was a Sunday School and Primary teacher and would also work in the nursery and library when called upon.

Dolly loved to sing, so she joined various choirs where she would sing to retirement communities and nursing homes. Art was another passion of hers. She did oil painting and portraits and as she got older, she loved to color. Dolly also loved to dance. When she went to the Friendship Center in Goleta they would always say I don’t know how she does it, she could dance all day long if they would let her. The staff at Heritage House also knew how much
Dolly loved to dance and would dance with her.

For many years, Dolly loved riding her bicycle with her friends. She took a special interest in helping others. Dolly also enjoyed spending her vacations with her children and twin sister Molly and her family at the beach.

Dolly’s children want to express their appreciation to all the people who helped in bringing happiness to her life. Hospice Nurses for their care, Heritage House for their loving and professional team of caregivers and staff and the Friendship Center Goleta for having fun activities for her. She loved you all.
