CrossFit Pacific Coast Announces Santa Barbarian Fitness event

CrossFit Pacific Coast announces dates for 2nd annuals Santa Barbarian Fitness Competition

Santa Barbara, CA- CrossFit Pacific Coast and Gravitas Performance Training will be hosting their annual fitness competition, appropriately named the Santa Barbarian, at their location in downtown Santa Barbara on May 16th. The Santa Barbarian will consist of three workouts performed in one day that include equal parts strategy, strength, and conditioning to keep the athletes mentally and physically challenged. At the conclusion of this event, CrossFit Pacific Coast will crown a Santa Barbarian champion in mens, womens, and modified divisions. And this year, they have added a master’s division for 40+.

The event will also offer a modified workout division to ensure athletes of all levels can compete safely and to their ability level. Eric Malzone, co-owner and programmer at CrossFit Pacific Coast is expecting some of the best athletes from Monterey to San Diego to take part in the competition. “We had a huge turnout at last year’s event and are looking forward to an even bigger showing this year.”

Registration is going on now, $80 to compete, and the fee includes a t-shirt and complimentary beer from Figueroa Mountain Brewery.
