Epitaph
Rating: NR
Synopsis:
Filled with great visuals and thrilling images, EPITAPH is really 4 ghost stories set in an old hospital about to be torn down. Creepy, dread-filled tales lead us through the stories of a dead Japanese soldier who comes back to life during an autopsy; an intern who falls in love with a beautiful corpse; a young girl, admitted to the hospital after an auto accident, who is haunted by the presence of her dead mother and stepfather; and a doctor who discovers that his marriage to his almost perfect wife has only one problem: she doesnt have a shadow. The Jeong brothers, first-time directors, have a strong visual sense which lends tremendous strength and tension to this K-horror film. Creepy, scary, and overall, a fine ride.
