Synopsis:
Revenge for hire is not only popular amongst the citizenry of a near-future Japan, its legal and carried out with startling efficiency. Hiroshi Kanou, a new assassin for a revenge firm, is incapable of feeling emotions due to the effects of a botched military weapons experiment he suffered through as a child. His stoic demeanor and focus turn out to be the perfect assets for a professional killer. Still, haunted by the memory of a young girl from his past he finds himself lost in a world that seems to run on rage. Taking on the feel of a 70s noir at times, this sci-fi action drama with brains paints a picture of a bleak future that doesnt seem all too different from our present. Scary, isnt it?
