Michael was a lover of life and for music. He was blessed with an extraordinary gift and passion for music. Michael played the trumpet and performed with notable musicians in the Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, Reno, New Orleans and most recently the San Francisco Bay Area. On the local front he played with the Santa Barbara Jazz Society, The Martinez Brother and many others. While growing up in Hialeah, Florida, Michael played for the Hialeah Marching Band, Miami Sound Wave Drum and Bugle Corp and the Wayne Cochran Church of Ministries. Michael was the Principal Performer for the National Association for Music Educators. Michael had a loving and kind heart, and was a man of faith. I am thankful for being blessed to have known him, love him and share him and his music with all the people who came into his life.

A short and sudden illness took him to the heavens, there he will share his kindness and music for all those who have proceeded him. He will be missed but will be kept alive through his music.
