Established in 1892, the Santa Barbara Club is an elegant and a storied location with a rich history located on a quiet corner near downtown. Today, the Club continues proudly with over 115 years of service and tradition as one of California’s oldest private clubs. Its remarkable reputation is based in decades of outstanding Membership that represents diverse business sectors; financial, government, sciences and a multitude of other professional endeavors. Members enjoy exceptional dining facilities with both indoor and outdoor venues, small meeting and events rooms for private occasions and the warmth of friendships developed over many years. It has been maintained beautifully through the support of an active and loyal membership, changing dutifully and carefully, ready to serve the future generations of Santa Barbara.

The Santa Barbara Club offers a number of exceptional venues, a serene garden setting, thoughtful and distinctive events that bring friendships and families together. The Club also has a number of offices available for members and offers numerous reciprocal club relationships around the world. The Club serves as social and business center for many community leaders who call the Santa Barbara Club ‘their’ Club. The club also features artwork from such Western artists as Frederick Remington, Edward Borein and others. Frederick Remington also used the club as he traveled from the ranches in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara in the early 1900’s.
The Santa Barbara Club is fortunate to be an active participant in the daily affairs of one of the world's most desirable small cities. Located at the base of the Santa Ynez Mountains on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, Santa Barbara enjoys a year round mild climate. It offers its residents and visitors an abundance of cultural and recreational activities, as well as numerous fine resorts, inns, and restaurants.
Santa Barbara's more recent history includes the emergence of the nearby and popular Santa Barbara County Wine Country, an area where numerous vintners are growing premium grapes and nearly one hundred wineries are producing wines of distinction.
Established in 1892, the Santa Barbara Club embodies both a rich history with colorful figures in Santa Barbara’s history and distinctive features that keep the Club an integral part of the business and social circles of this beautiful city. Members can enjoy two dining rooms, an outdoor terrace, a beautiful bar with many regional wines, private meeting rooms and outdoor spaces for events ranging in size from 8 to 150. Members can also relax by the numerous fireplaces, in the library or conduct business in one the offices located on the second floor.
