This Indianapolis hip-hop trio achieved some national recognition
with a Colts-related song called “Go Blue,” but the band’s fourth
record is the real reason America should take note. The beats are
smoothed out, the lyrics are playful and smart, and the overall
sound is a blend of the best of the west (think Pharcyde’s
Labcabincalifornia) and east (think A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight
Marauders). That means you need it.
