After more than 25 years of living and working out of his studio
within El Presidio State Park in downtown Santa Barbara,
ceramicist, painter, and artist extraordinaire Alvaro Suman is
moving out and selling all his wares. The Mexico City native has
explored “all the schools” in his painting, yet his ceramics remain
quintessentially Californian in style. Prices will range from $10
to “the thousands” — and everything must go — so hit up the
three-day sale from March 2-4 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. His studio is at
