KCSB Concerts Cater to Teen Audiences

"Summer Mix Music Series" Rocks the Courthouse Gardens

KCSB 91.9, in cooperation with numerous local agencies, is putting on two free concerts at the Sunken Gardens aimed at teens and dubbed the 805 Summer Mix Music Series.

The first concert is a hip-hop show headlined by Aloe Blacc of Emanon fame. The show is slated for Saturday August 18 and will be from 5-8 p.m. Aidge of Aesthetics Crew, Spirit and Inner City Dwellers are also scheduled to appear.

The second concert will be the following Saturday August 25 and will feature multiple types of music. Kissing Tigers and The Henry Clay People (formerly known as Vallejo By Knife) are the scheduled headliners. Terminal and LA-based rapper Blu will also perform along with two acts that are yet to be announced. The concert begins at noon and will end at 6 p.m.
