Police Have Not Determined If Attack Was Gang-Related

A 17-year-old male is recovering in the hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds following an incident that police are investigating as a possible gang attack. So far, police have determined that the teen was attacked around the 700 block of Wentworth Avenue before he walked to his home on the 800 block of Orange Avenue, leaving a trail of blood linking the two sites. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, said a statement from Santa Barbara Police spokesman Lt. Paul McCaffrey.
