CHP Releases Photos of Crashed Vehicle

California Highway Patrol spokesman Donald Clotworthy released a statement to local media today that said release of the names of the two women killed in the vehicular accident that happened on Highway 101 early on Sunday morning could come as early as tomorrow morning. Clotworthy also noted that the condition of the car’s driver, Beau Robertson, has been upgraded from critical to stable. He remains at the intensive care unit at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Meanwhile, the CHP also sent out the above image, which depicts the Camaro that tumbled over the San Ysidro Rd. overpass and into the path of an oncoming car on the 101. Also, Montecito resident Kevin Rehak has supplied the Independent with photos he took at the crash scene. Those photos appear below.
