The SBCC Theatre Group is holding open auditions for Over the Tavern by Tom Dudzick, directed by Katie Laris. Auditions are by appointment only and will be held August 29-30. Fantasies Wanted
Author Mitzi Szereto is compiling an anthology titled The New Black Lace Book of Women’s Sexual Fantasies. The book will contain actual fantasies of real women and hopes to offer insight into today’s sexual culture. A Turtle’s Dream Come True

Jeanie Vaughan, founder of Santa Barbara’s Turtle Dreams-a rescue facility for certain four-legged shell inhabitants as well as other reptiles-seems to have done just the opposite. With more than 60 species in her care, Vaughan regularly works 12-hour days in the Santa Barbara summer sun along with daughter Christie and husband Dennis to care for the wide variety of reptiles that are the residents of her sprawling backyard.
