Love on the Wild Side

Birds do it, bees do it, and, this Valentine’s Day, adults are invited to learn how they do it at the Santa Barbara Zoo’s romantic Valentine’s Day tour, Love on the Wild Side. Tour participants are asked to leave their inhibitions at the door, as they will participate in activities with their partners to heighten their senses. For example, could you pick your spouse out of a crowd using only your sense of smell? The tour makes for a lively, enlightening, and romantic evening, topped by a champagne toast and light repast of sensuous foods. Due to popular demand, two Love on the Wild Side tours will be held this year on Valentine’s Day night-tonight, Thursday, February 14-as well as a brunch session on the following Sunday, February 17. The tour costs $53/couple or $45/couple for zoo members. Space is limited and open only to those 18 and older. Advance registration is required. For info, call 962-5339, or visit sbzoo.org.
