Thumbelina and friend.

In case you missed Thumbelina during her last stop through S.B., now is your chance. The world’s smallest horse, standing at a proud 17.5 inches and weighing in at 57 pounds, will be making a special appearance at Hearts Adaptive Riding Center (4420 Calle Real) this Tuesday, July 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of her ongoing national tour to draw attention to and raise funds for organizations that work with special needs, abused, or disabled kids. With her tiny frame and gentle heart, Thumbelina has inspired her keepers to share the joy that the pint-sized pony brings to children around the world. Fans and friends can pose for pictures and hang out with this lovable horse. For details, call Hearts at 964-1519, or visit worldssmallesthorse.com.
