Westmont Prof to Lecture on Financial Woes

Event Part of College's "Tuesdays with Morals" Series

A free lecture in Westmont College’s Page Multi-Purpose Room on Wednesday, October 22, at 3:30 p.m. will focus on the nation’s current financial woes and will feature the professor of entrepreneurial finance, Dr. David Newton. The event is a special Wednesday edition of the college’s Tuesdays with Morals series.

Tuesdays with Morals, sponsored by the Gaede Institute for the Liberal Arts, is a weekly discussion that invites the campus to discuss morally complex issues. Newton’s lecture, “Crisis Mode: How Freddie, Fannie, and the Financial Engineering Changed Wall Street Forever,” is open to the public.
