A man was stabbed in the neck at a Goleta party early Sunday morning and had to be taken to the hospital as a result.

When Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call around 2:45 a.m. to 622 Windsor Ave., just south of Cathedral Oaks Road, they deduced that a fight had taken place. The stabbing victim had been taken to the hospital by a friend. The suspected stabber – 31-year-old Seth Hernandez, a Santa Barbara man who also had been injured in the altercation – was taken to the hospital by sheriff’s deputies and arrested.

The medical status of both the victim and the suspect is unknown.
