On Saturday, November 15, between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Santa Barbarans affected by the Tea Fire can pick up free face masks at the East Beach parking lot adjacent to the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, 1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd.

Distributors are advising that only a very limited supply of masks will be available primarily to people who cannot avoid outdoor activity. Santa Barbarans are advised to stay inside when possible to avoid fire smoke exposure.

Instructions for proper mask fitting will be available on site.

The masks are being made available to the public thanks to Direct Relief International (DRI), the Santa Barbara County Health Department, and the City of Santa Barbara .
