"La Argentina"

Almost 200 years ago, an S.B. commandante named Jose De la Guerra saved our town from being invaded by a notorious Argentine privateer named Hip³lito Bouchard through a complex diversion plan that tricked him into believing the Presidio housed much more than just a 50-man army. This month, you can relive De la Guerra’s ingenious plan that saved our town at the Bouchard: Privateering California’s Coast exhibit at the S.B. Maritime Museum. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and $2 for kids. Call 362-8404 for more info.
