Tonight (Thu., Aug. 6, 5-7pm), registered nurse and Congressmember Lois Capps will headline Take Charge: An Arthritis Update, a free lecture on adult health presented by the S.B. branch of the Arthritis Foundation, an organization that strives to educate the public about the latest in healthcare, medication, treatment, and advocacy. Other special guest speakers include Susan Lemon, an S.B. rheumatologist, and Karen Anderson, RN. The lecture will cover such topics as healthcare reform news from Congress, arthritis treatment updates and advocacy, and other adult health issues.
