If you’re looking for a family-friendly way to celebrate the last throes of an S.B. Indian summer with your little ones, head up to the Santa Ynez Valley this weekend for a Kids’ Old-Fashioned Fishing Day at the Cachuma Lake Nature Center (Hwy. 154, Santa Ynez). Young anglers aged 5-15 will fish for rainbow trout with the help of adult volunteers. Bamboo fishing poles, bobbers, and bait will be provided.
