S.B. American Red Cross to Hold Volunteer Training Orientation Session; Easter Seals Seeks Donations for Disabled Children's Programs

• S.B.’s American Red Cross (2707 State St.) is looking for community members to attend its volunteer training orientation this Thursday, December 10. Attendees will learn more about Red Cross volunteer work, like disaster relief efforts, safety education, and humanitarian missions. The orientation runs from 5:30-7 p.m., and is open to ages 18+. • Easter Seals Tri-Counties is an area nonprofit that provides services to underserved children with disabilities in the Central Coast area, specializing in children with autism. The organization currently is seeking donations to help pay for children’s counseling, social skills groups, and other occupational therapy services it provides to the community.
